The router to the MySQL database server failed today, resulting in database connection errors. We have restored the connection and all is back to normal.
The loss in connection occurred around 12:32 UTC, and we restored it again around 12:49 UTC/
As a precaution, we will apply software updates and reboot both the web server and database server late tonight (Sout Africa time).
