ZA Central Registry issued a policy statement on 6 April regarding COVID-19.
COVID-19 Changes
With reference to the media statements made earlier today (6 April 2020) regarding the suspension of deletions during the COVID-19 lockdown. Please note that the ZA Central Registry NPC (ZACR) has elected to suspend the commencement of domain name deletion processes until the 24th of April 2020.
This effectively means that any CO.ZA, ORG.ZA, NET.ZA and WEB.ZA domain name, with an expiry date between 7-24 April 2020, will only be suspended on, or after, 24 April 2020. After the 24th, the standard pending deletion and pending redemption phases will follow.
