The Cape Town data centre will conduct maintenance to their power system on Sunday.
The electrical power reticulation and switch gear will be upgraded in preparation of a planned new generator installation. The upgrade will improve redundancy and resilience of the power supply to the data centre.
During the maintenance window, power will be provided by a temporary standby generator with UPS backup. No interruption to power is expected.
