We have addressed certificate errors that some clients experienced.
A number of clients notified us of errors with their digital certificates when accessing cPanel or using email. We have identified the source of the problem and fixed it.
The root of the problem was a change in the certificate chain used by Let’s Encrypt. We have known for months this was coming, but it still caught us off guard when the change came into effect! Let’s Encrypt certificates are renewed every two months or so. Any certificates issued after 1 October could not be validated, resulting in an error.
We have re-issued all the affected certificates with the new certificate chain, and all is good again.
