The ZA Central Registry will perform infrastructure maintenance on Tuesday 18 October from 06:00 to 08:00 SA time. During the maintenance period all registration and management functions for ORG.ZA and CO.ZA domains will be unavailable. All domains will of course continue to function as normal.

Our Dallas infrastructure has been under SMTP attack this week. Similar to an incident in February, spammers are using botnets to try connecting to our mail servers. To mitigate the attack, we have implemented soft failures for connections from IP addresses without reverse DNS.
