SMTP attack – 25 July
Our Dallas infrastructure has been under SMTP attack this week. Similar to an incident in February, spammers are using botnets to try connecting to our mail servers. To mitigate the attack, we have implemented soft failures for connections from IP addresses without reverse DNS.

he ZA Central Registry will perform administrative maintenance on Saturday 23 July 19:30 and 21:30 SA time. During the maintenance period all registration and management functions for CO.ZA and ORG.ZA will be unavailable. All domains will of course continue to function as normal.
