We have scheduled hardware maintenance on server W-29 in Dallas for Friday 19 April. The server will be offline for about 15 minutes to receive a firmware update and to swap out memory sticks.
We have noticed stability issues with the server. Not seeing anything wrong on the software side, we suspect a hardware problem. To cover all bases, we are scheduling the following work:
- Update the BIOS firmware to the latest.
- Swap out all memory sticks in case one of the existing is faulty.
Maintenance schedule
Work will be occurr on Friday between 22:00 and 23:00 UTC. Expected downtime should be less than 15 minutes.
